Suman lost her mother at a very young age. Her father remarried. To save them from any maltreatment, Suman’s grandparents brought her and her brother away. Her grandfather is a retired factory employee and with his savings and pension, he raised and educated them till Grade 10. With Help A Child scholarship, Suman M Kittur completed her pre-university education, her bachelors and then masters in mathematics. Today, she is a part of the mathematics teaching faculty at a junior college and is taking care of her grandparents and her younger brother’s higher education.
